made my way to the armory show last sunday afternoon and when i walked up to the entrance i immediately regretted dragging my ass all the way up to 55th (or whatever st.) to be one with the masses. i kind of can’t believe how many folk actually go to this show, is it a tourist attraction (honey, should we do the cruise around the isle of manhattan or the armory)? i can’t imagine that many people actually being interested in the art on display but maybe i am wrong, i have been before. i almost turned around and went back to my hood for some much needed bloody marys but decided to be brave and embrace the insanity.
