I also saw Masonna with Emil Beaulieau, in the mid-nineties, playing as part of RRRecords something or other anniversary on Landsdowne St. (where many shows happened in the nineties but not so much now) in Boston. Masonna was the most intense band I have ever seen live, in fact it was so loud and the noise that Mister Masonna was producing was so ear-splittingly extreme I could only watch about 1/2 of the show. What I mainly remember from the show, all of these years later, is lots of long hair swinging around violently, chaotic noise, and very sore ear holes (mine).

Masonna on 120 Minutes, introduced by Thurston Moore (kind of weird!)
